I heard that Stephanie Meyer has 12 books??????

Question

I heard that Stephanie Meyer has 12 books in the Twilight series. I was wondering is that just a rumor? plus I heard that she already had them written but they were just releasing them in a a slower order so that (as can be expected) they can make more money. I have already read Breaking Dawn and an I remember people mentioning that there was another one soon to come out... what was it called??? if you could tell me which was true and which was myth.. that would be great!!! Thx!!!

She only has twilight, new moon, eclipse, and breaking dawn so far in the twilight series.

unpublished she has forever dawn which she has written and will never be published.

She is writing midnight sun, which is twilight in edward's perspective but is not going to write (new moon, eclipse, bd) in his perspective.  She says new moon would be to depressing, and also "I think if readers read midnight sun they'll understand edward in all the books."  so only midnight sun.

she has said that she will continue writing in the twilight world, but only for her sake.  They may/may not be published.  If so, possibilities are a book in Leah clearwaters perspective, a book in renesmee's perspective, and even possibly a book from one of the new borns in eclipse (bree, or riley's) perspective.

other then that she has the host, and is talking about doing a second, the seeker, and the third, the wanderer.

other then that she mentioned she has tons of stories she would love to write, and commented on one about mermaids.

Then This december shes coming out with the twilight saga, which is the "ultimate guide to everything twilight". Shes also in the process of writing Twilight in Edwards View which is called Midnight sun.

So no she does not have 12 books.

Someone lied to you. Their are only 4. Midnight Sun will be the next to come out but it is not a sequel. It is Twilight from Edwards perspective, a companion novel.

Meyer's first novel, Twilight, was published in October of 2005. By November, Twilight had reached #5 on the New York Times Best Seller list for young adult chapter books.

Meyer soon published the sequel to Twilight, New Moon, in August 2006. In its first week of release, it debuted at the number 5 position on the New York Times Best Seller List for Children's Chapter Books. In its second week it rose to the number 1 position, where it remained for the next eleven weeks. In total, it spent over 50 weeks on the list.

One of Meyer's stories was published in Prom Nights from h**l, a collection of stories about bad prom nights with supernatural effects.
