  1. well for pimples i would suggest you try SWISS glutathione bar. Its actually a soap intended for skin lightening but it really works well against pimples and the maks they leave behind! it dries them out easily in just 2-3days! a lot of people buy it for that purpose even if they dont have to lighten their skin. check out

  2. nononono, the exfolient actors wouldn't outweigh the fact that these chemicals expand with heat.  Better to use isopropyl alcohol when your pores are open, ex. after a hot shower........heat makes your pores open, after you wash and rinse with the hottest water setting you can handle in the showerer----right before you step out rinse your entire body again in the coldest water you can handle to close your pores back up to prevent any foreign matter from collecting in your pores and causing an infection=acne

  3. yes, the mixture you describe would make an excellent exfoliant, decent for avoiding blackheads.

  4. Don Robeo's answer is perfect!  I happen to be a doctor who happens to have a boil  Rather than look it up tonight, I decided to go online looking for home remedies.  Don Robeo's answer satisfies my medical understanding of boils and my scientific understanding of how to treat them.  Another point - applying heat (like a hot wet washcloth) will draw more circulation to the area.  In turn, the extra blood flow will bring extra "clean-up" cells (wbc's) to help the body heal itself faster.

Don Robeo's advice is also a good preventative approach.  Thank you Don Robeo!
