I heard that athletes dont eat food after a certain time. what time would be best for an athlete not to eat?

  1. I've heard different things: No food after 6pm, no food after 7pm, no caloric intake one hour before you go to bed.... basically there's a point of day where your body starts calming down  before you go to bed and whatever you consume your body won't burn off.


  2. since your an athlete and you work out, i would wait like and hour or two before you can eat.  

  3. Depends on the sport, depends on the person, depends on the food or drink. Be more specific.


  4. two hours before you go to bed. And if you work out in the morning, do it before you eat again. Your body will perform better.  

  5. I don't eat after 7, and i go to bed at 9:30.

    and an athlete should only drink water and you can drink that whenever you want.

  6. athletes never stop eating, especially before bed.  you're body actually burns more calories sleeping than it does while awake and inactive.  So the theory of not eating before bed is totally ridiculous.  In fact, pre-bed time protein intake is one of the most important meals of the day

  7. You're not really supposed to eat after 9:00 because you're body doesn't digest as quickly and it puts strain on your heart if you eat before bed. You can drink if it's water or something healthier then pop.
