  1. I've never heard of anything like that being against the law. When they are very young, it shouldn't be a problem at all to share a room, in fact, I'm sure many families live like that. Now when they get older, they definitely need privacy, but thats not for several years down the road. If its a matter of space, you can always use a divider or some partition dividing the room in half, probably leaving room for a twin bed and not much more, but still they'd have some privacy.

  2. No it is not illegal for brothers and sisters to share a room...probably what your wife is thinking of is foster parenting. In foster homes, non-sibling children of the opposite s*x can not share a room. There are all kinds of regulations when it comes to taking care of other people's children, but as the parents, as long as you keep your children safe, you make the rules for your house. It is perfectly acceptable for a brother and sister to share a room, and as far as them "touching each other when they are older"...I highly doubt it. Siblings generally either have a protective bond with each other or a competitive rivalry, and intimate contact between them is very unlikely. Sharing space usually means fighting...I would say there is no problem with kids (especially that young) sharing a room. It would actually make it easier to care for and look after them. But remember it is your choice as a couple how to raise your children. Don't let others opinions dictate how you want to run your family...it does sound like your wife may be uncomfortable with the idea of brother and sister sharing a room, so it might be a good idea to discuss it and try to ease her fears. You can reassure her though that it is not illegal, and for at least some time when the children are small, it may help them become closer (little kids are innocent and don't even know or think about s*x until someone teaches them about it...adults are the one who think about the possibilty of innappropriate behavior.)...hope this helps...and best wishes to you and your family!

  3. Me and my brother shared a room until we where around 11. It's fine. Good Luck to you and your family :) x

  4. no.. thats completley stupid. may i ask if your wife is blonde or just simply retarded?

  5. As far as I know it is not against the law.  Though I would suggest that once they get to be between five and seven put up a screen or get them separate rooms.

  6. I have never heard of it being illegal.  My son and daughter shared the same room until my son got to be about 10, then he got his own bedroom.

  7. I've never heard of it being illegal. I shared a room with my brother till I was about thirteen years old. We never experimented or anything and to be honest, the thought never crossed my mind, or his. I'm sure things like that do go on, but most kids do know that it's not right to do anything like that with their siblings.

  8. ....

  9. Haha, no it isn't illegal.

  10. I heard that mustard gives you AIDS.

  11. i shared a room with my brother and two sisters (im now 18) and i have never heard that this was illegal. there should be no problem with your children sharing a room, however as they get older it may be in their interest to each have their own rooms for the simple reason of privacy

  12. It's not illegal at all. I don't know where she got the idea that it is, but no it is not

  13. hahahahaha!
