I heard that some European countries have used cfl bulbs much longer than USA. How do they dispose of them?

The cfl's contain mercury. Do Europeans recycle them or pitch them out with the garbage?

  1. Don't worry about recycling these bulbs. By the time they burn out (a LONG TIME from now), the greenies will have come up with solution for disposing of them.


  2. Not exactly a prollem for LED bulbs...

    I think you're supposed to recycle them, but I'm sure there's already millions in landfills.

    The best way would be to recycle it at a place designated to recycle those materials
