I heard that the Guinness at the top of the Storehouse in Dublin was wonderful. What do others think?

It was one of the best drinks of guinness I've had, but I have had guinness of the same standard in England. By the way it is true that the people of Dublin are friendly and polite. Thankyou.

The best pints of Guinness I've ever had were in Dublin, and in a little pub in Dingle, Co. Kerry.

It's said that Guinness doesn't travel well and the best pints are always guaranteed in Dublin.

It's a great pint at the Guinness museum.  Great view as well.  I worked in England or a while and I thought the Guinness was shite.

People here are very friendly and polite ... most of the time.

Truthfully, you won't get the same Irish experience in Dublin as you would in the country, but the drinks are very good and the people are so nice, polite and friendly.

Yeah, we had a lovely time there, the view from the top is good, love Guinness, cities are cities, and people are always in a hurry, but the Irish people are friendly.

I was disappointed with the Guinness in Dublin last week - not as good as it used to be. The whole place seems to be turning into "just another big European city".

Get yourself up to the loughs or down to Kinsale if you want to meet really friendly people. Good beer too (not Smithwicks though, yeugh!).

The people of Ireland are the best people in the world, they are helpful, courteous and pleasant. The Guinness that is brewed there is undoubtedly the greatest drink I ever tasted. First class all round and thankyou for asking such an interesting inquisitive question.

yeah, it's ok. I used to work in a bar, so i know some secrets! The best pint of Guinness is always from a tap that is not a huge distance away from the barrel, in other words, look out for a nice small pub with the kegs near the taps, could be in the cellar etc. If you really are after a good pint, look out for a pub where ould fellas always drink, coz they are fussy feckers and won't drink any old c**p. And yes, people from Dublin are alright, but go to GALWAY in the west for real quailty and that's a promise!

I went to Dublin in January and I really liked my stay...

Dublin is wonderful ..I also visited Guinness Storehouse ... It was amazing...From the top I saw a good view of the city...

I advice you to go ... ;)

i live about an hour from Dublin and people certainly aren't as friendly as they used to be. never had a Guinness myself!!! but it all depends on how it's poured and how clean the pipes are, in Ireland, i know there are maintenance operatives who go around cleaning the taps for the Guinness every few weeks to keep the standards high and they make sure the barstaff are properly trained in how to pour it!

Hi, I enjoyed my Guinness in the observation tower at the Guinness warehouse, the view from up there as well was amazing.  I also found the people of Dublin very polite, so much so i am going back in Jan.

Guinness depends on temperature, taps, how it is served, etc.  I think they pay more attention to the product at the Storehouse than they would most places.  I have had just as good pints in the UK and US. I have also had bad pints in Dublin.

The people in Dublin are generally nice; I found people in north Dublin really nice. Though maybe I am female, the men were far friendlier than the women.  I found some of the women rude and abrasive. Some people in Dublin also had a problem with "northerners", but I found that quite funny and did not take offense.   For a big city, driving in Dublin was quite pleasant.  The drivers were very curteous (though maybe b/c I had Northern Irish number plates)!  In Dublin, I noticed that people queue nicely for busses and trains.
