  1. Not in the USA

  2. They might help with public transportation, but I doubt that they would help an elderly person get behind the wheel.

  3. the government says a lot of things they'll do, and they don't do what they say their going to do. that's our government hard at work for us.

  4. The government is going to help elderly buy vehicles?  Great.  So who than pays for auto insurance?  Tax payers?  And gas prices?  Helping get people into cars when gas prices are jumping all over the place??  I really doubt our government is going to do anything to help anybody.  I think its wise for elderly NOT to drive.

  5. ive never heard of it, but i wish it were true

  6. i've not heard of this one but most places have great bus service.  sure beats insurance, gas prices, upkeep, car pmts

  7. never heard this one.  doubt it.

medicare will help get you a wheelcar.

  8. Every day I work with the elderly, trying to find assistance for the low income older adults.  Although I do not know of any program that will buy them a car, there are several that will pay for medical and non-medical transportation - senior center transportation, buses, vans, taxi-es.

  9. No but you might qualify for reduced fare bus passes or Medicaid might agree to buy you a scooter or motorized wheelchair.

  10. All assistance comes from state-administered plans. The federal money is administered by the states. I do not know of a program that provides a car to senior citizens. But I do not that some programs assist refugees in getting a car. (not Americans)  American citizens, especially senior citizens, are getting shortchanged on services everyday!!!

  11. in what country
