I heard that there might be another stimulus check comming for the 2007 tax year is that true?

I have already recieved my stimulus check this year, but I was told that there might be another stimulus check going out. I was just wondering if this was true or not.

Right now people are wondering if there's need for another one, or if it's too soon to talk about it.  I don't think there's been any serious talk in the government yet, just people talking in the media.

No, it's nothing more than rumor at present.

There have been talks about further "stimulus" activity from the government, however it won't likely be another useless giveaway.  If anything it will be along the line of infrastructure investments such as repairing or replacing some of the 200,000 bridges across the country that are either obsolete or structurally deficient.  The $165 billion wasted on the giveaway could have replaced thousands of those bridges and created thousands of JOBS.  That would have generated more TAXABLE income than the tax-free giveaway did and done more for the folks who really NEED more help than a few tanks of gas.

The economic stimulus giveaway was the worst of political pandering to the electorate in recent memory.  Hopefully we won't see any more of that gross stupidity from Congress again.

A few politicians are talking about it, but nothing has been introduced in Congress.  Once the election is over, they are likely to lose their enthusiasm.

There has been talk of it. The first check did not stimulate the economy as expected so they are saying why do a second? Too many people put the money in the bank instead of spending it.
