I heard that there remaking final fantasy 1 and 2 for psp, is this true?

if it is, will it only be a japanese release or will it see its way to the u.s.

Yeah, FF1 and FF2 were released for the PSP about a year ago here in the States. It's not a full 3D remake like FF3 and FF4 on DS; It's roughly 16-bit graphics. FF1 is the GBA version with an extra dungeon. FF2 I'm pretty sure is exactly the GBA version. But on GBA, you got both games together for about $30, while the PSP versions are $30 each.

They've been out in the UK since about february, and we don't usually get them till after the US.
