I heard you can take dogs into restaurants in France and Germany, is this true? is it the same with Italy?

You can't bring pets in the restaurants. i've never seen any pet in our restaurants ! i'm italian

In Italy it is usually forbidden. However in the summer in most restaurants you can eat outside and there would be no problems.

generally in Italy you can't take dogs into restaurant bu maybe that in some restaurant...but when you have dinner on the open place like "terrazza" it maybe possible!!!!!  Ithink that the same is in Germany and in France ...consider that all thoose nation are under European Union  laws  !!..!! that can be issue law on that!!!!

I don't know any restaurant you can take dogs into in Germany...there might be a few but not many. But in summer many restaurants have tables outside and there I often see people with dogs.
