We were pulling in to a parking spot and we bumped another car, and there was a small scratch that took off the paint about 1/2 inch long and about 1/4 inch wide. What should we do/have done?

  1. Way to totally incriminate yourself over the web.

  2. Way to go! ;)

  3. do the right thing even if you are dishonest(not saying you are) write down your name and phone number on a piece of paper and stick it under the windshield wiper, clear mind on your behalf. most people won't pay attention to it and take it off and throw it away, that's their bad.

  4. Left a note. Waited a short time to see if the driver shows up and tell him/her what you did. What did you do just leave?

  5. You might've left a note on the windshield with you're name and contact information and insurance information and an apology of some sort. But now if you're sure nobody saw you and there were no cameras in the parking area. It is considered criminal to leave an accident without exchanging information. Now you might just let it blow over or if you're a good samaritan (and can afford high insurance rates) maybe try and find the car

  6. You should have left a note with your information. Private property, you wouldn't have gotten a citation for it (at least, not in Texas). I'd be mad as a bear if i came out and saw some loser had hit my truck and taken off.

  7. Find the owner of that car and tell him/her. He/she should know.

The right thing to do, which i might, might not do is pay for the damages, its only a scratch, put new paint over it.lol

or just forget about it and laugh next week about it.
