  1. Sounds like alot of people are quick to judge.

Seems to me you have two options. You either come clean and tell the police, or you do nothing. If you come clean, there WILL be consequences... you'll be at their mercy but since you came forward you will likely get a lesser penalty. If you do not come forward, either nothing will come of it because you weren't caught... or you will be caught then charged with hit n run which may carry a felony charge and/or jail time.

Garunteed punishment to lesser extent VS maybe get off free, or maybe harsh punishment.

How did you react to the hit? Did you get out and look at it? You should probably come forward if that is the case... if you barely reacted at all, maybe you can lie (ill advised, but might work) and say you had no idea you hit the person, offer to pay, and maybe you won't get a felony charge.

Lots of factors involved... I hope you now realize that this absolutely counts as a hit'n'run, and that is a criminal act. Next time, stop, think, and cover your bases.

  2. Nothing. Unless you feel really bad. Pluss how would you find the owners again anyway?

  3. Call your local police dept. about it or at least go back and leave a note on the car with your information. Crashing into a car and leaving the scene carries at minimum a fine. I know its not your car and its not in your name, but there must be insurance on it, and even if there isn't, you need to take responsibility for your actions, cause how would you like it if someone hit your car and drove off leaving you with the bill? Also, don't count on whoever seeing you not getting your license plate number, they might have even if it didn't look like it, so you need to fix this situation before the police get involved and have to find you.

You can always just say "nah" and not turn yourself in and hope they didn't get your plates, but don't be upset if it ever happens to your parked car. I say this cause i've actually had someone crash into my car and leave, and i was very upset about it and the cost of the damage is on me. I would've been fine if they had just left a note with their information on it, things like this are what INSURANCE is for.

  4. Pray that no one saw you and did not write down your license plate number. Then you or the owner of the vehicle you were driving  will be charged for a hit and run felony.

Someone did that to me and I got witnesses ...and I pursued it to the full extent of the law because ...they should have left me on the windshield a note with their insurance agent name and number. They didn't. Then there were no cell phone to take a picture, or digital cameras ...Somebody, somewhere must have taken a picture.

Well ...go to confession ...if you don't know who your victim was ...what can you do now ...?  ... And if you feel remorse, ask God for forgiveness and do good deeds ...so you can stop worrying and have peace.

  5. Thats a hit and run and you could get in big trouble so I would tell the police!

  6. Remember GOD? He might have seen...Seriously...you have an obligation to report this. You were in someone else's car and you hit another car and drove off. Didn't the owner of the car you borrowed notice the damage you did to their vehicle?

Didn't they ask you what happened? You now owe two car owners an explanation. Turn yourself in, first to the owner of the car you borrowed, then call the police in the city in which the accident occurred, explain that you left the scene because of fear, etc. While leaving the scene of an accident isn't good, coming clean will go a very long way toward making consequences less painful to deal with, besides woman, its the right thing to do and you know it. Now steel up, and go make some calls.

  7. Nothings gonna happen. You'll be fine. I mean.. if the damage is THAT bad.. Come on.. You're fine.
