Question:

I hit a sprinkler with my mower and it died. what's broken?

pretty much all i know. it won't turn over any more. The sprinkler stopped it dead.

  1. if the blade is the only thing that's bent you're in luck.  they are cheap and easy to replace.  if the shaft that connects the blade to the motor is bent, you've got bigger problems.


  2. if it won't hit <fire> the force of the hit sheared key,located on crank. its not that hard to get to. just disconnect plug wire ,drain oil and gas so you don't get into any more of a predicament.

    Key on crank is sheared. easy fix

  3. Blade is probably bent, turn mower over, or jack it up and check into it.

  4. What's broken? The mower is broken. :P

  7. you probably froze the motor :( sorry man but check the oil and the filter you never know the spark plug might have came off a lil  just a thought
