I hit an about 250 yard drive with a $15 dollars gold bat. It is my second time playing golf, how good is that

Is that normal or it can be increased even more with a good bat?

  1. 250 yards with a bat?  You need to work on your bat speed.  You should be able to hit a golf ball 400 yards plus with a bat.


  2. A gold bat?  As in a baseball bat?  Or do you mean a gold golf club, or a Pinnacle gold golf ball?

    It depends on the course conditions, was it hard or soft, did you hit a sprinkler head, did you hit a cart part, etc.
