Question:

I hit my knee on brick!!!!!!!!!! HELP!!!!!!?

i was walking on a mini golf course and my sandal slipped and my knee hit the brick and my knee is swollen like allot i can walk but after a while it hurts and its hard to bend it what can i do ????!!!!??!!?!

  2. put some ice on it.. and sleep with an icy hot patch on it...

    take a hot bath with epson salt in it if you show no sign of healing within 3 days or so go see a doctor...

    try to ease on the pain killers too!

  3. Ice it for 10 minutes while elevating it, and see a doctor today (not tomorrow).  

  4. First get a warm cloth and put it on your knee. Then support your leg by either sitting on chair and putting your knee on another chair. But make sure it is straight. When the warm cloth startes to become warm ask your parents or brother for a bag of ice, not too much, too to little but just right enough to cover your knee. Finally relax and sit down, if the swelling doesn't go do by a day go to a doctor!!:)

  11. Well officially if this is a recent injury like in the last 24 hours, you probably need to just rest and ice the injury 20 mins on 10mins off, keep the leg elevated.  For pain and inflamation motrin 600-800 mg every 4-6 hours.

  13. rub out your need with a semi hard ice pack and make a app. to see a doctor because you may have a blood clot and if you rub it with a ice pack it may go away.

    Stay Off it for a while, use ice on the swelling, keep is extended (no cross legged sitting) and elevate it, particularly when you sleep.  

  16. I had the similar thing happen to me. except i rolled down a hill and busted my knee open. I had to have 8 stiches! but the only thing I can tell you to do is elivate your leg and put ice on it and then switch to a heating pad then back to ice do that for a hour or so and it dosent seem to get better then go to the hospital. Thats my best advice. I hope it helps.
