  3. Well, if you THREW the rock and damaged the engine then probably not; if you drove over the rock this would, indeed, be covered under your collision coverage.

  4. It MAY if you have full coverage and can prove it wasn't done by negligence on your part such as off-roading in it.

  5. It's a possibility.  Your adjustor would have to inspect damage, get a body shop's report, and make that determination to see if that's what has caused the damage.

  6. If you have collision coverage you may have coverage depending on what your policy says. In my jurisdiction this is considered to be a collision claim because you had a collison with a object on the road and it would be covered subject to the deductible. I would report and see what the adjuster says about your coverage.
