i hold a Commercial Drivers License i was ticketing for not used my signal when turn. the officer gave me a my took my. question is should i pay the or contest

  1. well you got a few words missing here but if i was you and you didnt use your turn signal then pay. if your a truck driver you should pay double. because your supposed to be some of the best on the road. if you did and all you had was a light out tehn definetly contest. all you would get is either a warning if a nice judge or a ticket for a light out. way less than and not as bad as a ticket for not using a turn signal.


  2. If you didn't use your signal, but are getting points, may be worth going to court to apologize and get the points taken (they usually do this for first offenders, but it's not 100%).  If you had a genuine mechanical failure that caused your lights to not work (I know it happens in trucks all the time since I'm a tech), then take it to a shop, get it fixed, and bring a copy of the invoice to court.  Do this quickly so the dates will match and it will show your genuine concern for the safety of others on the road.
