  1. I put those codes in my generic system since  you didn't provide a car manufacturer in your question and didn't come up with anything so these are specific car related.  If this is the first time you've done this and are saying that by replacing these two items will fix your car, you're mistaken.  Generally, the codes point you in the general vicinity of the problem, and often dirt or hoses or something else is the problem.  Diagnostic tools are only that, they don't pinpoint the problem, but tell you that a problem exists.

  2. Idle control out of range, usually due to a dirty throttle. Code was common on older GM's. See the link for in depth info.

  3. manufacture control -  vehicle idle speed control auxiliary inputs.

it's telling me that it is a specific code for the manufaturer, os only the dealer will be able to tell you what exacly the definition is.

it's telling me there is something wrong with the idle control motor. look at the throttle body, there is a piece there with a connection, that controls the idle of the car. either tap it with a wrench and see if your idle jolts, telling you the unit is bad.

  4. *ANY* P1xxx DTC is considered a "Manufacturer Specific Code".  Depending on the vehicle manufacturer your codes could be defined thusly:

    P1514

    High Load Neutral/Drive Fault

    Neutral Drive Load Fault

Idle Air Control Solenoid Signal 3 Circuit Low Input

Airflow to TP Sensor Correlation High

    P1516

    IMRC Input Error (Bank 1)

    Neutral Drive Gear Change Fault

Idle Air Control Solenoid Signal 4 Circuit Low Input

    Electronic throttle module throttle postion

I could go on.  If you provide a year, make, model, engine size, etc. and tell us what prompted you to retrieve those codes and what may have pre-empted the issue (drag racing?), we can help you more.
