Australian Skipper, Michael Clarke, hopes to have a say in regards to the new coach's appointment, after the recent stepping down of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sri-Lanka-c758.

Clarke, who marked his first Test series win as Australia’s newly appointed Captain, commended Nielsen for leading the team to a successful tour, citing that he has developed a decent bond with the instructor, not only as a Skipper but also as a player.
The Skipper also rested his confidence in CA officials, who he believes will pick the best candidate for the coveted role.
Reports suggest that meanwhile, CA will be appointing an interim Coach, who will be leading the Aussies into their upcoming, October-November tour to http://www.senore.com/Cricket/South-Africa-c757.

However, Clarke, who voiced his desire to have a say in the matter, also stated that he will not be taking names or favouring any candidate, despite holding Rixon in high regard.

In the case of Nielsen, the former South Australian cricketer was asked to reapply for his job, which he decided against, citing his desire to move on to other opportunities.
