I hope a gambler out there can tell me the origin of the name Big Slick, the name given to an AK???

No one really seems to know where the term Big Slick originated. The best guess is that it is "a slippery hand to play " because sometimes it can be hard to grasp the right way to play it.

At this year's World Series Of Poker a number of pros began calling AK "Anna Kournikova" instead - it looks fantastic but never wins anything. LOL!
