Secretariat won the Triple Crown in 1973 on May 5, May 19 and June 9, 1973 -- the exact dates the races are being run this year. I hope history repeats itself?! Do you? Go Street Sense!!!

I'd love to see Street Sense win the triple crown, and I have a good feeling about him today.  He appears very relaxed today, which is a great sign on race day.  With only 9 horses in the field, if he gets out of the gate fast, I'd try to take him wire-to-wire, away from all the traffic.  It's a shame what happened to Barbaro here last year, because I thought he was a real beast of a horse.  Smarty Jones nearly did the impossible, winning here in '04 before finishing second in the Belmont.....what a horse he was!

I agree, it's about time for another Triple Crown.  It is one of the hardest things to accomplish in all of sportss, but I really think Street Sense has a chance.  He came from the back of the pack in the Derby and ran away with it, he's got a great shot.
