  1. As a Leafs fan, I'd like Mats back too.  Not that his presence will make much of a difference, since the Leafs have to do a lot of improving to be competitive again but, it would be nice to say 'so long' to him properly.  He gave the team a lot of good years.  I still think he's going to retire.

  2. he may get you a few more wins, but further away from John Tavares

  3. hes mines too and how will it feel without sundin the new title should be life without sundin

  4. As a die hard Leafs fan and a huge Sundin fan, I would love to see him back.  I think it's tough the way everything has gone, and I think Fletcher treated him wrong at the trade deadline.  He would be one of our only decent players this year, and it pains me to say this, but I think maybe it's time Sundin left the Leafs.

I've only been alive for sixteen of the past 41 winless years, and it still frustrates me to no end that the self-proclaimed centre of the hockey universe can't even play post season hockey.  It's finally looking like managment is doing the sensible thing and rebuilding, and on that kind of team there's no room for Mats.  He simply deserves too much money, which the Leafs couldn't and shouldn't commit.  If the Leafs are serious about moving forward, it's Sundins time to go, which I can't believe I'm admitting.

I just hope that wherever Mats goes he finds success, and I thank him for all those wonderful years in Toronto.  Whether or not he ends his career in the blue and white, he'll always be my favourite, and a Leaf to me.

  5. ya i hope he comes back............ but jason blake is amazing toooo

  6. He's the only decent player they would have on the team. I agree.

  7. No chance that will happen.  He is not going back to Toronto, if he plays hockey in North America at all.

He looked tired and bored last season.

  8. if you ever want your team to succeed again, you need to move on from him, he kinda stabbed you in the back, by not waiving his NTC at the deadline, and just like favre, you have to move on
