  1. my husband helps me because i cant see mine lol

  2. not only can i not groom, i cannot paint my toes or anything. it is just so hard to do.

but to groom, last time i made my husband do it. before that time i sat on the edge of the tub and put a mirror across from me. it made it easier but i had to be VERY careful.

    best of luck.

  3. Contrary to popular belief, humans were not born hairless, with tanned skins, fake b*****s and smelling of expensive perfumes.

Why are we so desperate to be something we're not?

Be proud of your natural body.

  4. That was my biggest worry when I was pregnant (well that and stretch marks), and then it came true, both! I found that the easiest way (despite how nasty it seems) was while in the tub taking a bath, somehow the water surrounding me just helped. Of course a shower after-wards to get rid of the hair, but even after gaining almost 100 pounds all in the belly, at least I felt clean after-wards. Didn't get perfect still, but hey, just shortened and kinda neat was just fine for me. Note that I didn't have a significant other to help or that would have been my way.

No matter what, you are not going to offend him/her! They have seen everything. They love their job and when you come in, even when doing an internal exam...all they are thinking about is the same as you should be thinking about, that beautiful child inside you.

And to the above post, it's not that we think we were born that way, but even for the sake of being clean, it is nice to not have it all....being that way, how do you really get clean after using the toilet unless you take a shower  (or use the bottle the doctor gives you after you give birth lol)?

  5. i totally understand...im 36 weeks and cant see a thing down there!! try getting a little hand held mirror. you can also sort of "feel around" down there as you can feel spots you have missed. dont worry about your OBGYN, they have seen it all and hair is totally natural and normal. oh and you can always try and ask your boyfriend/husband to do it for you. sounds weird but im sure they will be willing to help.

id be more concerned about making sure its groomed down there for deliery becuase if you tear and have to get stitches i hear its alot more painful with hairs in your stitches. ouch.

  6. awwwww....that's what im afraid of!!! im only 13 weeks lol but i think when the time comes, ill just find a way LOL good luck!!! maybe get a wax (if thats what you mean?)

  7. First off you won't horrify your Ob/Gyn...they have seen EVERYTHING. I forgot to shave my legs and he checked them for blood clots...he simply said...Going Au Natural huh? They have seen much worse (trust me) then just a bushy...well you know.

If you can't get your man to do it (mine thought that it was rather erotic) then you can play it safe by using an electric razor...or simply apologize to your Dr before he starts the exam.

I had to have an emergency c-section (due to placental abruption) and when I said that I wasn't real neat...he simply said "that's the least of your worries". They see rotten crotch...hairy legs or a bush isn't gonna faze them. PLUS they have fat women come in who can't do it either and they don't have a bun in the oven to give them an excuse.

    Good luck.

  8. AH! I feel you. I am 40 weeks today and I'm not used to just letting it go. Keep in mind, your OB has seen FAAAAAAAAAAAAR worse! LOL But just do what you can. Take a mirror in the shower with you. I just did what I could without one. This might be TMI, but ask your partner. =) It might seem weird, but it creates some fun! Goodluck!

  9. dont worry about it, your ob doesnt care (as long as its clean ;)). i cant groom mine either and my hubby thinks its kinda s**y. its a good change from what it used to be and, anyway, before you know it, you'll be able to groom it again.

  10. I mostly let it go the last few weeks. . . and they ended up shaving me anyway for the emergency c-section.

  11. im almost 33 weeks and i tried to shave last week....didnt work out too well lol ive decided i give up and ill just try to trim the best i can for a while

  12. my hubby helps me i dont know what i would do without him
