I already posted a question asking if it would scar but basically yesterday I really hurt my arm it's really scratched up

Anyways I just wanted to know if any of you had suggestions on how I can cover it up so its not so noticeable. I feel awkward having people stare at it like I tried to kill myself or something lol especially because I'm all girly & I guess it just looks awkward having a scratched up arm. Please help, any suggestions on how i can cover up the scratches until they heal would be great.

  1. wear full sleeved shirts until it heals?

  2. use bandange

  3. ouch that does look painful, not much you can do other than get some kind of spray or neosporin or something to relieve it, not much you can do about covering it up unless you use long sleeves but you said its to hot so not really anything you can do. should only be about a week or so before it starts to look better.

    hope it heals fast.

  4. Put some soothing lotion on it.. make sure you don't itch it... This will soothe the scratches. If worse come to worse put a ton of makeup or where a long sleeve shirt, or take a roll of bandage and use it to cover it up and tell everyone its a minor sprain.

  5. ooo what happpend?

dont worry about covering it up, it will make it even more noticeable.  just keep taking care of it.  neosporin and peroxide everyday to help it heal and keep the scarring away.  eventually it will dissapear

as for the scars which will probably happen, try using mederma on it after it heals

  6. to answer your question wear a long sleeve tee shirt or wear a pullover.

  7. Doesn't look much like a garage door slid down your arm to me, it looks more like you've been self harming.

Anyway apart from a bandage, muff or long sleeve there's nothing you can hide it with.

Bye way your nail polish matches the bedding - funny that!

  8. In answer to your first question, it shouldn't leave a scar. It's nowhere near deep enough to do so. For the second issue, it doesn't look like self-mutilation at all so people who think so are ignorant but for pain's sake putting some antibiotic ointment then a couple of pads then a roller bandage would work well. Once the pain is gone and you just want to hide the scabs then I would suggest going with just the roller bandage and no pads or ointment. Hope that helps! PS- just curious, how did you get those scratches? Looks like you fell into a bush or something but it's the wrong place for that.
