I hurt my rotator cuff a while back with barbell military presses fell better know ant to get back.?

what do you all recommend. when i lift the bar it fells like i may get hurt again. is there a way around this problem. my objective it to get bigger shoulders. i can handle 80 pounds for 12 reps with dumbbell presses easy with no pain. please help should i get stronger with db presses or try military presses.

Does your doctor know you are back to lifting weights again?  Did he put any restrictions on you about lifting & straining?   Did he give you a series of doorknob exercises to do to strengthen you rotator cuff?  Did he have to give you a cortisone shot to ease the pain to begin with?  I'm afraid you may re-injure your rotator cuff if you don't go back to the doctor & ask his advice on how to proceed with your exercising.  Maybe next time it will mean surgery.  Proceed with caution.
