    do you mean if you can use the lens from the nikon fg camera onto a newer SLR? Yes, you can, if it's a nikon DSLR, but the lens won't fit if you're trying to put it on canon or other DSLR.

    the lens will only fit on a nikon camera. Is that what you mean?

    perhaps, next time, you can be more specific, because that question doesn't make much sense?


  2. I had that camera for a short time.

    The AI-S lenses that you use on it will work with the newer dSLR, but it won't auto focus. In fact, on some model, you have to manually set the aperture, too. You need to look at the specs of the camera you're thinking about getting at http://www.nikonusa.com under "lens compatibility"
