If you did, you should know whether the letter is legitimate by the content, the contact, and the reference to your application.  If unsure but you think it could be genuine, make the calls to the hotel yourself to speak to the contact.

Unless you applied for the job, think about it – would some Nigerian company have head-hunted you for a reason? If no, it’s doubly fake.
