  1. I also didn't have any injections in the seventh month. I did however get the flu shot when i was 6 months pregnant but that's because of the season it was and the flu was going around.

  2. I didn't have any injections in the 7th month...

Unless your talking about the gestational diabetes drink/blood test?

  3. may have blood drawn there but no injection of anything

  4. That injection is for women who have negative blood types, such as A-, B-, AB- or O-.

If your blood type is A+, B+, AB+, or O+, you do not get that injection.

By the way, first time mothers with negative blood types do not need the injection, although it is almost always given to them anyway.

  5. Your thinking of Anti D.  You only need this if you have certain blood types.  I have to have one any time i have any type of bleeding, even just spotting and when the midwife or doctor takes your blood at 28-30 week visit one of the bloods checks your Anti D level.  They will give you the jab then round your 7th month (thats by the time you got results back) if you need one. If your levels of AntiD are ok you dont need to have one.  However if you have a need for AntiD you probably will have another injection after the cord is cut due to the back lash of blood from the baby to mother and vis versa.  It goes in the muscle at the top of your leg and gives you a dead leg for about 20 minutes but its not painful.

  6. No, I never had any injections during pregnancy. I did have blood taken for test though.

  7. I didnt have one. But maybe if you have a special condition you may need to. Talk to your OBGYN.
