  1. that is too old!!!!you need a new one,its suppose to make water blue.

  2. That is really old, but just in case you get a new bottle and it still doesn't turn it blue, read what it says on the bottle. It should have some kind of warning telling you to expect the water to turn blue.

Mine at least tells me to be wary of getting it on my skin and clothes because it will stain.

  3. ick is the  same as white spot it does turn the water blue and yes u should buy an up to date solution of this treatment

  4. Check and see if it has Malachite (not sure on the spelling) green in it.  If so, yes, your water should be turing blue.  Many other ich meds. out there will do that.

I would do a water change because the meds you used might be out of date.

You can try buying some more meds.  While you are at the pet store, have them test your water.  Usually ich presents itself if your water chemistry is off.  Fixing that will help your fish heal.  You can also up your temp of your tank to 80F (provided you are treating tropical fish) and add some aquarium salt (follow the dosing directions on the box).  THis is the only method I use for ich in my tank and it has worked for me everytime.
