  1. If your unit administrator processed the paperwork and sent it to DFAS, no more than a month.


  2. contrary to popular belief the bonus is NOT automatic.  if you didnt give your unit administrator a cpoy of your enlistment contract showing that you are authorized a bonus then you will NEVER see the money.  YOU MUST, like in all things in life, DO THE PAPERWORK!
