I installed devil may cry 4 in my pc and everytime the game loads , it goes slow and my pc restarts or crashes. What seems to be the problem? I have intel core 2 duo 256mb nvidia geforce video card and 1gig memory.

Are you running on Vista? You barely have enough RAm and you haven't even said what your CPU speed is. You're lagging in the game because your specs aren't quite enough, and your comp crashes 'cuz it's too much to handle.

It is not too bad if your system is vista because my pc is

Pentium 4 1.8 ghz,

1.5Gb DDR400 Ram,

512MB 256bit graphic card

and it's running quite well which my operating system is Windows Vista Ultimate.

Well as you had mention your PC's hardware which your's is better than mine. With such overclocking processor and graphic card you should have no problem at all. But it also depends on how many software you had install...

get another 1Gb ram. choose kingston hyper 'X' which is faster. BUT I do not sure if it will conflict when slot and combine together with the ram that you already had.

YOUR already-had-in-pc-ram, take it out and put it back.

I'M AM GUARANTEE if you do dis your system could be better.

plus if you upgrade you graphic card sure things getting muchx10 better!!!

maybe you should try turning down the settings on the game to see if that helps. also, you should go to windows update to check for updates for your computer as well as getting the newest drivers for your graphics card. the main thing is usually the graphics card, that used to happen to me all the time.

Try turning down your graphics on the game. Try calling someone up professional computer service to help you. Try checking your plate (front of computer) could be to tight which push in the restart button.
