I installed my drive succesfully

Question

I installed my drive succesfully then I am trying to install protools and it tells me to format the disk so I followed their instructions to the letter but when I named the drive I ended up apperantely with the drive being Partitioned and am getting this message saying that one of my backups is not connected how Can I simply get rid of the drive on my Mac and start all over?
