My computer came with the 64bit of Vista. Now this is great, but it does have some compatibility issues, so I chose to create a new partition and install XP 32bit on it.

Now both drives are working, the problem is when I start my computer only XP loads.

Is there a way to install something where after the bios it asks me which OS i want to boot

BTW

vista is on the c drive

xp is on the j drive

thanks

  1. Hello, i did the same thing with Vista and Ubuntu, however Ubuntu has its own bootloader called GRUB which allows you choose which operating system to boot. Im not sure if you can download GRUB for XP but if not you do need a Bootloader of some kind.

  2. goto msconfig there you will find the boot configuration.
