was still interested and that I was a Superior candidate and that they were still interviewing through the week (8/13/08). I emailed them back saying i was still extremely interested and I haven't heard anything since. what should i do? should i email them back and if so what should i say?

  1. Its best to wait a week & then phone or email saying how you are still interested, thank them for their time & consideration & then ask them the status of the position.


  2. Its been 2 weeks, I imagine they filled the job by now.  Still, can't really hurt to ask, so I'd say yes, go ahead and eMail them and tell them you are still interested and ask if they have filled the job yet.

    I am writing to inquire about the status of your search to fill the <xxxxxxx> position.  My interviews were August 1 and 4, and an August 13 email assured me that my application is still considered strong.  Has a candidate been selected yet, or is there a date by which your selection will be made?

    I am still interested in the position and look forward to hearing from you soon.
