I've seen rats eat through Fibreglass insulation, if they eat that they can eat or drink anything. and will.

Rats will eat cheese, what do you think cheese is made from.

try to limit the dairy for rat because it could upset their tummys. there is also too much sugar in some dairy products such as yogurt. a little will be fine, but not more than 2 tablespoons.

Yes it's good for them. A rats immune system and biological layout is very similar to that of a human (hence the scientific experiments conducted on rats). Anything that is good for you, is likely to be good for your rats, and like humans, all in moderation, too much of anything will make any animal ill. My female rat had many kittens and so I helped her by feeding her a little bottle of milk next to her main bottle of water. Obviously, this milk needs to be changed every day but it is a very nice treat for your rat and they will love you for it!! :D
