I jailbreaked my ipod and now it wont play music!!!

Well if you have the newest version of the iPod Touch (with the AppStore) then don't jailbreak it yet. Too unreliable.

To fix yours, connect it to iTunes and hit restore.

If iTunes won't recognize it then, you need to do a DFU restore (Use only if necessary). Turn off iPod completely. Connect cable while holding the home key. Keep holding the home key, you see a white screen, random things and finally a connect to iTunes screen. iTunes will now force you to restore it using a backup restore method.

Note everything will get erased and it'll be re-jailed so to speak. Restore usually takes 20 minutes or less with the pre-AppStore models usually only needing about 5 minutes.

That's what you get for jailbreaking..but ask someone to fix it.

To reset the ipod make sure the hold switch is off. Turn it on then back off then, press and hold the menu and center button for about 10 seconds, or until the apple logo appears.
