I joined freecycle.....?

Then decided, i had made an error putting my real name on. So i closed it and reopened using my 'stage' name, and it appears the mods have removed this and kept me the same? Can they do this??? CHEEKY!

no moderator of any group can edit that part of your subscription or Yahoo account. if your name is showing up it may be on your profile in the area of real name or nick name.

It possibly that they have validated your first request and refused the second.

I would send a polite email to any of the moderators, and explain your concerns.

I'm on free cycle too and find the moderators a bunch of stuck up middle class twerps

our moderator is a local computer guy who i know well.

i would say it's a pretty new thing in NI, theres only a handful of posts every day on it.

Although some people haven't really got into the spirit of it and keep posting for things like pianos, dvd players and cars???? (!!!)

I changed my name from my real name to a nickname after i joined by editing my profile on yahoo. the same one shows up here now too
