I jus brought a new computer?

i need help with the internet. i have internet access but my computer has nowere to find intertnet explorer. please help

Hi..

I understand that you are not able to see Internet explorer icon on your desktop to access internet. If Windows XP is been installed in your system, you can create a shorcut on desktop.Perform following steps..

1. Right click any where on desktop and select Properties.

2.  Display properties windows opens.....Go to Desktop tab in that window.

3. Click on customize desktop.

4.Desktop Item window opens...in General tab

5. check  internet Explorer and click and OK and  again click OK.

And now you will be able to see the internet explorer icon on desktop.

Or

If you want to open internet explorer directly without having a desktop icon.

1. Click on Start   and select Run

2. In that windows type  "iexplore" without quote and press enter.

If you are still no able to open internet explorer Reply back...

I will provide you some other steps for installation of internet explorer..

if you are using vista go to the start menu and in the search bar type in any website and hit enter that should pull up the internet if it doesnt reinstall the operating system if they gave you the disk if they didnt then call them
