There are two charges listed. 39:8-1 Failure to inspect and 39:8-931 Refusal to Inspect. I don't understand the second charge because I didn't refuse the inspection process because I didn't tell the cop that I will net get my car inspected. The ticket also requires a mandatory court appearance (Is this normal for a expired inspection sticker???). Does anybody know what kind of fines and/or points I may be looking at.

  1. Get the car inspected, show up and pay your fine.

If you have a new inspection you should be able to get off on the charge of refusal to inspect. Be nice and polite and have a good story.
