I just adopted an 11 week old male tabby kitten, he is constantly cyring even when we are holding him. ?

He eats fine but still tries to nurse. He plays with toys but loses interest quickly. Is this normal? How do we make him stop crying so much?

was he separated from his mother as a very young kitten? because a lot of kittens that were taken away too soon tend to cry and cry and still try to nurse. just ignore it as best you can, dont pick him up everytime he cries, and if he starts crying put him down. its an annoying habit and it shouldnt be too hard to break.

Yes this is very normal, nothing to worry about. He's just a little scared because he is in a new place he has never been before and he's missing his brothers and sisters.

When he eats, pet him. This will comfort him some what. And play with him. Soon he'll realize that he has a new a loving home.
