  1. i work at Petsmart (i know not the same exact thing but pretty much) you have to go there and let them know you applied...dress in something nice like some kaki's, a nice shirt, some plain brown or black shoes with a black of brown belt (even if you are a girl) ask to speak with the manager on duty and let the manager know you applied! Tell the manager your name oh and its good to introdue yourself and shake hands with them! Good luck

  2. With any job give it 2 weeks before you give up hope but sometimes it may take longer Ive applied and it took a month! I was hired too! So it depends I say 2 weeks.

  3. I work at Petco and applied online too, for most Petco's online is the only way to apply. It took them about 1 month to call me for an interview, but the length of time depends on if they are hiring or not. Applications do stay on file for a few months. Talk to the store manager for the location you want to work at, it shows them that you are interested and serious about the job. We were recently hiring at my store and our manager wouldn't interview anyone that didn't come to the store and talk to her or one of the supervisors. Dress nicely when you do, you want to make a good first impression. They won't contact you if they don't think you are qualified. Good Luck! It is so much fun working at Petco, playing with the store animals and seeing the different types that customers bring in!

  4. Online apps sometimes quite often take a while for someone to get to.  If you havent heard from them in a couple of days I would call the store you wanted your application sent to and make sure they got it.  Also...I recomend that you go to the store in person and intriduce yourself to the manager and let them know you applied online.  It will make a difference...as long as you make a good imperssion.  Good luck!

  5. um something should come in the mail, or they could call you. Have fun!

  6. usually, you don't get contacted if they do not want to interview you.  How long it will take if they do want to interview is dependent on if they are actively hiring.  If they don't have positions available, they'll keep your application on file for when they do.

  7. i work at a petco, it really all depends on which location you applied for, if they need more ppl, and your qualifications (pretty much the info from your answers from their "morality" test). your best bet give it a week, and call them to see if they reviewed your application. good luck!
