I just ate a mouldy vegetable :( will it make me ill now?

No, relax. It won't make you sick!

People have been eating almost anything since we were monkeys. A little mold is already on everything, including our skin. We add 'mold' to make cheese and bread.

If it was a week old sardine from an open can a week old you'd have a problem; there are more pathogens in proteins than veggies anyway.

So take it easy; as disgusting as it may seem it will only hurt your feelings!
