I just baught an item off ebay and i have to pay with a check with the item number in the memo field. wheres?

Down in the left hand corner there is usually a line for any extra things you want to right down.

if you have a checking account why not open a paypal account just has safe and much faster than waiting for whoever gets your check will have to clear before sending sometimes taking a week or longer paypal is free and it will pay you in time

In the lower left corner of the check, to the left of where you sign the check.  Sometimes it says memo, sometimes it says "For."_________________

The memo field is on your check that you are sending as payment.  It is usually on the bottom left corner and looks something like this:     For_______________________

Memo Field is usually located on the front of the check, lower left corner. Usually just a line across the bottom.

If I were you I would set up a PayPal account, better, safer and faster.
