I just bit my lip and its bleeding!! what do I do?

there is a bit of blood coming out...and it does sting a fair bit...

whats gunna happen when it heals up and what should i do right now???

i bit it while i was biting on something!

Its nothing to serious to worry about but id just put some ice in a plastic zippie wrap wit with a thin was cloth and live it on for 5 mins and the jun hot water in the zippie w/ a slightly thicker cloth over it for 2 mins... that makes it feel better [:

Alright, so now that it's done bleeding...don't chew on your lip, and try not to stretch it much (smiling, laughing, opening your mouth wide) because that will just reopen it.  Yes, it should just scab up, if not just heal without the scab, depending how bad you bit it.

but go get some waterr and wash yur mouth out so you can get all the dry blood out and it may feel better to wash yur teeth,

ouch I hate it when that happens (by the way don't listen to people on here being stupid) anyway depending on how big it is it will probably get a little scab on it but don't worry nothing bads going to happen its part of life.

try putting petroleum jelly on it

Go to your ice box, get an ice cube & apply the ice cube to the wound, then get a little raw salt & rub it into the wound a few hours later ( after the bleeding has totally stopped, it might hurt a little ).

Salt is one of mother natures antiseptics ( if you like vinegar on your food, try to avoid it for today )

If you do happen to get a scab on your wound, don't nible it off, because your wound will take longer to heal.

A little ice to control the swelling, and maybe a tylenol and you'll be good....it will heal fast!

just keep it cool (get some ice rapped in a towel or rag) it will reduce swelling. it should scab, just try and keep it clean.

it'll probably just scab over but if it starts bleeding again put ice on it to help it stop.
