I just bought 2 hermit crabs one?

I bought food and wanter and iv'e been giving them apples, the one i had for a week loves the apples bought the one i bought 2 days ago still hasn't eaten yet. im getting worried someone please help =(

Yes, apples are great for them..They also LOVE peanut butter..And YES its very healthy..Remember there not big food hogs so id give them small portions. Try regular food for the on thats not eating..Also try mixing Peanut butter and there food together....Keep bigger empty shells in there too so they can upgrade if needed. Good Luck!!

You shouldnt be giving them anything but the hermit crab food and hermit crab treats (if you bought it too)

I know you may hear that they are scavengers adn they will eat anything, but you shouldnt feed them something they havent been eatting at the petstore or whereever you bought them.

Please just give them water and their hermit crab food and make sure they can get to it easily, its best kept in little shells so they can get in them easily. also sponges for the water is good too (the dead sea sponges)

You should be feeding a variety of different foods, not just apples. Hermit crabs are interesting in that they don't like to keep eating the same foods and will grow "bored" of them and stop eating. Try offering hermit crab pellets, high-quality fish flakes, eggs, high-quality dog food, cereals, different fruits and vegetables, chicken, nuts, brine shrimp, applesauce, popcorn, etc. They can eat a lot of different foods :).
