I just bought a PS3 and now need HDTV. Whats the best choice for gamers? LCD? Plasma?

I heard that LCD burnout. Is this true? How long do they last if so? I want a TV that is good for gaming, but also great for watching tv and DVD. Whats brand or style (LCD or PLasma) do you suggest? Best answer gets 10 points and good answers get 1 point!!!

get a lcd as it will have a brighter and sharper picture.

the new lcds have have caught up on the lag time as well .

also plasmas still have a chance of burn ins..

get a lcd wit full hd and not just hd this will ensure thebest quality picture .

get an LCD because plasmas use up more energy and if you pause the game for too long, the picture on the game will imprint onto your plasma screen and have a permanent mark on it.
