I just bought a Pre-Paid Credit Card so that i can?

buy something off the internet, it's got the numbers like a credit card and even the 3 on the back but no name. it just says "A GIFT FOR YOU" and it keeps saying my payment is declined. i know it has money on it because i just bought it and it says once activated it can be used. so i'm wondering if there is a way to

Technically, you can put in any name and it should work...

Are you sure you registered the card...

It can only decline if the account data is not matching...

You know....that you can do the same with a checking account...and a check card...

I get all my Mom's stuff on my card and she just pays the bill for me.

Prepaid cards are usually not accepted online.  You need either a credit card or a debit card.

Many sites won't accept those gift cards. The place you're trying to buy from must be one of them. Sorry.

no, you have to register the pre-paid card on the internet with whatever website that was provided. It'll just ask for like name address and sometimes last four digits of your phone number.

Then when you order stuff online, you just put in your name. It should work just like a regular credit card...after you get it registered.
