Since it's a Schnauzer, I think you should go German or Austrian for a name, or maybe somewhere else from that region. "Fritzie", "Otto" or "Greuber" might work, or "Rolf", since a Schnauzer is a dog, after all. Whatever you do, don't name him "Adolph"...it'll just be weird. Good luck!
