  1. I would go with a muted yellow/cream/goldish color.  Keep it neutral and you're more likely to like the color longer.  If you go crazy with a blue or pink you'll probably get sick of it sooner.

  2. id go with a light color with black!!

    like pastel pink or purple

or light blue or light green

yellow would make a great color with black

grey too would look nice as well

  3. hot pink would look good

  4. play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find colors that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

I think a pale "fancy pink" (# 7107) would look great.

  5. Grey sound good.

  6. Hmmmm.    Usually in design you pick the wall and floor color and materials first.   Something like a shower curtain would be an accent you add later.

Black puts you in the particular color group, which includes white, grey, blue, and red.   I hope your bathroom fixtures are white, rather than almond.

Since bathrooms are small, I'd choose a very light color, which gives a sense of cleanliness too.  Perhaps a light grey.

Then use metal accents, and bright towels.

Look in magazines or decorating books.   Look for a black look in a bathroom.  Copy what they did.
