I just bought a complete set of Scotsman Troon Advantage golf clubs at a garage sale for $20 including bag.

Can anyone tell me if this is a good deal or if they have ever heard of these golf clubs?

I have never heard of them. I searched on the internet and could not find them.  $20 is less than one round of golf so I would say that you got a good deal no matter what they are.

They sound like they might be blades?  In which case it will make the game very difficult to learn if you're a beginner.  On the other hand if they are blades and you are a beginner and you play with them and learn to hit them, you will have a real advantage when you get a more forgiving set.  Can you post more info?

sounds like an amazing deal for a complete set - never heard of the make but it might have some link to the Royal Troon golf club in Scotland (35 miles south of Glasgow), but then you might have guessed that already...
